Serbia: Growers anticipate this year's purchase prices for raspberries

Raspberry growers in Serbia expect 400 to 500 dinars per kilogram of red gold this season. There is still a huge amount of raspberries waiting for buyers in Serbian freezers. With the first warmer days, work began in Ivanjica and Arilje, which are considered the capitals of the Serbian raspberry. The weather conditions were not favorable for them, so as they say, a smaller crop can be expected this season. Last season, Serbian raspberries reached a record price per kilogram, but despite this, many producers were left with empty pockets because, as they say, they did not manage to collect all the dues. Large quantities of raspberries are still stored and waiting for buyers, but growers are impatiently waiting to see what the purchase price will be this year. - I expect it will be 400 to 500 dinars per kilogram.
