The Vietnam Trade Office in Australia has reported significant growth in durian exports to the country, with Bato Ausales Company exporting seven tons and Uu Dam Australia Company selling 80 tons. The market survey conducted by the trade office since 2019 has led to a favorable reception for Vietnamese durians, offering competitive pricing that sets it apart from Thai and Malaysian durians. From January to June 2021, agricultural exports to Australia, including durians, saw a 52% increase, generating over 40 million USD. Overall agricultural exports, including cashews, coffee, and rice, reached 110 million USD.
