Seyhan Municipality in Turkey produces turmeric

High yield was obtained from the turmeric planted within the scope of alternative product production studies carried out by the Seyhan Municipality Rural Development Directorate. Seyhan Municipality, which carries out R&D studies on the cultivation of alternative products in Çukurova, both to help the farmers overcome their economic problems and to contribute to the urban economy, started the production of "turmeric", which is called a source of healing after medicinal and aromatic plants. The harvest of turmeric, which was brought together with the soil under the greenhouse in April of last year, was carried out with the participation of Seyhan Mayor Akif Kemal Akay.
