Iran has a significant pomegranate production, with 96,500 hectares of orchards, and it ranks first in the world in terms of per capita production. The country's eight-month pomegranate export has grown by 70% in terms of weight and more than 120% in terms of value compared to the same period last year. Fars, Central, Khorasan Razavi, Yazd, Semnan, Isfahan, Lorestan, and Qom provinces are among the biggest pomegranate producers in the country.
