A meeting to promote the Tai'an City Advantageous Meat Duck Whole Industry Chain Quality Improvement and Efficiency Pilot Project and the China Meat Duck Industry·Tai'an Index Information Collection was held on July 12. The meeting saw the participation of key figures such as Zhang Guoqing, deputy director of the Information Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Wang Qiang, secretary of the Party Committee and director of Tai'an Animal Husbandry Center. The meeting aimed at discussing the development of Tai'an's meat duck industry, the creation of the Tai'an Index, and its role in smart agriculture. A detailed plan for the quality improvement and efficiency project of the meat duck industry was introduced, along with the data collection plan and operating methods of the China Meat Duck Industry·Tai'an Index. Consensus was reached on the next implementation plan, marking a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the index compilation work. The meeting underscored the importance of digital transformation and quality enhancement in the meat duck industry.
