Hadong-gun in Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea has started the harvest of spring water parsley from Cheonghakgol. The first shipment of 50 boxes of the parsley, grown at a farmhouse in Namsan and Jeondae-ri, Hoengcheon-myeon, at the foot of Jirisan Mountain, was sent. The parsley, which is not grown with pesticides, will be mainly supplied to Nonghyup Hanaro Mart and Top Mart in Yeongnam. About 40 tons are expected to be shipped from 10 farms in Hoengcheon-myeon, generating 250 million won in sales.
