Singapore allows shipments of processed pork from Brazil

The Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA) applauded the announcement made today (04) by the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro, regarding the opening of the Singapore market for processed pork meat from Brazil. According to the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin, the opportunity generated from the negotiations concluded by the Brazilian Government should provide a significant increase in pork exports from Brazil. “Singapore is a country with high levels of pork consumption per capita. There is a notable demand for products with higher added value, which should generate direct results in the revenue from exports to the destination”, assesses the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin.
