The Brazilian Association of Animal Protein (ABPA) has expressed support for the announcement that Singapore will open its market to processed pork meat from Brazil. ABPA believes this opportunity will lead to a significant increase in pork exports from Brazil, as there is a high level of pork consumption in Singapore and a demand for products with higher added value. Currently, Singapore already imports fresh pork from Brazil and has seen increased demand, making it the fifth main destination for Brazilian pork exports.
