Indonesia has been approved as a new supplier of frozen and processed chicken to Singapore by the Singapore Food Agency (SFA), according to the country's Minister of Agriculture, Syahrul Yasin Limpo. The approval follows an audit of Indonesia's food safety and animal health control systems. The Director General of Livestock and Animal Health in Indonesia has confirmed that the country's poultry production can meet both domestic needs and the export demand. The SFA will now inspect the shipping process and conduct sampling and testing of the imported products.
