Rice production is carried out by 946 farmers in 64 villages in Boyabat, Durağan, Saraydüzü, and the central district located in the Gökırmak Valley, contributing significantly to the city's economy.

It was stated that contributions have been made to producers through land consolidation works and rice drying machine supports carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, while consultations with farmers continue for the transition to the crop rotation system for efficient water use. Officials emphasized that information activities and field studies in line with agricultural production planning will continue uninterrupted.
