Between March 20, 2020, and January 19, 2021, Sistan-Baluchestan Province, Iran, saw a total export of 3.22 million tons of commodities valued at $1.14 billion over a 10-month period. This represents a 5% decrease in volume and a 23% decrease in value compared to the previous year. The province's main borders and markets, including Milak, Mirjaveh, Zahedan, Chabahar, Pishin, Gamshad, Kuhak, Jalq and Rimdan, were involved in 25% of these exports. The remaining 75% were processed through other Iranian provinces' customs offices. The main exports included cement, fruit and vegetables, coriander seeds, liquefied gas, tiles, ceramics, iron and steel products, and cyclic hydrocarbons, with the main destinations being Pakistan, Afghanistan, Oman, the UAE, India, and Iraq. During the same period, the province imported 1.16 million tons of products worth $609 million, marking a 16% increase in volume but a 35% decrease in value. The main imports were rice, wheat, barley, field corn, mangoes, sugar, and sesame seeds, with the main exporters being Russia, Germany, Brazil, Pakistan, India, Australia, and China.
