World: Slight corrections of grain contracts to the upside

Even as the first days of August brought a collapse in the prices of the main grain contracts on the world stock markets, this week there were slight corrections in the upward direction. In Chicago, bread wheat FOB rose $7.00 to $248.00/t, France added €4.00 to €235.00/t, and in Ukraine and Russia prices moved up $3.00 and $5.00 respectively to levels of 243.00 and 245.00 USD/ton. The movement in corn is the opposite - in the USA the decrease is by 6.00 dollars to 215.00 USD/ton, France very insignificant change down by minus 0.25 EUR to 225.00 EUR/ton. Russia dropped the price dramatically two weeks ago and is now flat at $228.00/ton.
