‘Forum on Climate Change Response and Paradigm Shift in Smart Aquaculture Industry’ was held on the 10th at the International Conference Hall of Nuri-Dream Square in Sangam, Seoul, hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the Korea Fisheries Promotion Agency (photo). At the forum, the agency presented on the policy direction for smart fisheries in response to climate change, the agency's role, and the development of a climate adaptation aquaculture model linked to the revitalization of village fisheries. Director Go Jin-pil explained the role and support status of the government in the paradigm shift of smart fisheries and the shift to artificial intelligence (AI) in the fisheries sector as a major change to achieve a safe smart fishery in response to climate change, starting with the implementation of the Smart Fisheries Artificial Intelligence Transition (AX) Platform next year.
