Strawberries from Son La, Vietnam, are currently being sold at significantly lower prices due to the main harvest season, which has resulted in an abundance of the fruit. The harvest season, lasting from May 11 until early April next year, has seen a surge in strawberry production, particularly in the regions of Moc Chau, Yen Chau, and Mai Son. Mai Son district alone has seen an increase of nearly 80% in strawberry cultivation area and over 250% in output compared to the 2022-2023 crop, leading to the current drop in prices.
