Recent studies indicate that low-tannin sorghum can efficiently fulfill this role, maintaining the productive performance of animals and increasing the profitability of finishing systems. A controlled environment experiment evaluated the performance of pigs fed diets formulated to have the same level of energy and protein, varying only the proportion of sorghum in substitution for corn.
