The Chungnam Provincial Government is taking the lead in establishing a sustainable job ecosystem for fishing communities by introducing the nation's first customized vocational training program for fishery workers. On the 19th, the Chungnam Fisheries Resources Research Institute announced that it signed a collaborative business agreement (MOU) with the Boryeong Employment and Welfare Plus Center (Boryeong Labor Office) and the Chungnam Economic Promotion Institute to strengthen employment and startup capabilities for fishery workers. The key contents of this agreement include △operating workforce development programs to revitalize the fisheries industry and migration to fishing villages △creating jobs in fishing communities and raising awareness △enhancing fisheries industry job competitiveness through information sharing and cooperative networks.
