South Hemisphere Blueberry Exports Grew by 28%

According to the 2025 International Blueberry Market Yearbook by iQonsulting, the total volume of blueberries exported by Southern Hemisphere countries during the 2024/25 season reached 436,431 tons, representing a 28% increase compared to the previous season. Peru maintained its leadership as the main fresh blueberry exporter, with a total volume of 317,847 tons, which signified a 42% increase from the previous season. In second place, Chile also recorded growth in its exports, with a 5% rise, reaching a total of 90,647 tons. Regarding destination markets, North America remained the primary recipient of Southern Hemisphere blueberries, with a total of 217,986 tons, representing a 26% increase compared to the previous season. In second place was Europe, which received 151,653 tons, also with a 26% increase.
