South Korea and the United States are among the countries in the world where bananas have the highest price

According to a study based on 88 countries, South Korea has the highest average cost for buying bananas, followed by the United States and Luxembourg. On the other hand, countries with the lowest banana prices include Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Bolivia. In Latin America, Paraguay and the Dominican Republic have the second and third cheapest prices, while Uruguay has the highest price. In Peru, the average cost for a kilo of bananas is US$1.05.
