The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs of South Korea has identified Vietnam as a key export market in Southeast Asia for promoting Korean smart agricultural products and technologies. Starting in 2022, a pilot smart farm with a steel frame greenhouse and environmental control system will be set up in Hanoi. Lee Sang Min, director of the Agricultural and Food Innovation Policy Bureau, emphasized ongoing support for Korean companies to expand their networks in Southeast Asia. The 2024 Vietnam-South Korea Enhanced Partnership Week aims to further cooperation in smart and eco-friendly industries, clean energy, and smart agriculture, fostering future economic collaboration between the two nations.
