Turkey: Southeastern Anatolia's cereals, pulses, oilseeds, and products exceeded 1 billion dollars

Exports of cereals, pulses, oilseeds and products of Southeastern Anatolia exceeded 1 billion dollars at the end of the first 4 months of the year. The decrease in the exports of the region, which managed to increase its exports by 15.5 percent in April compared to the same month of 2022, decreased to 5.6 percent at the end of 4 months. Stating that they aim to reset the export loss of the sector in this region by the end of June, Southeastern Anatolian Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters' Association President Celal Kadooğlu said, "This year, we are experiencing a rainy season in which our wells are getting full and the waters in our rivers are rising again in the dry winter months. The abundance of this period, which it is full of, will reflect positively on our production.
