Sowing of sugar beets in the Poltava region of Ukraine started two weeks earlier

In Poltava Oblast, a significant advancement in the agricultural sector is underway with the sowing campaign making notable progress. According to Philip Pronin, the head of the Poltava OVA, farmers have successfully sowed 70,000 hectares with early cereals such as wheat, barley, oats, and peas. Additionally, the region has initiated the sowing of sugar beets on 10,000 hectares, marking the start of this process two weeks earlier than the previous year. The feeding of winter crops is almost complete, with these crops being reported in good to satisfactory condition. Furthermore, there is an optimistic projection for the Kherson Region, where the areas of crops are expected to be three times larger than in the previous year, indicating a significant increase in agricultural productivity.
