Sowing of winter crops is underway in almost half of the Russian regions.

Seasonal field work is actively underway in Russia. The volumes of sunflower, sugar beet, as well as vegetable and potato harvests in the organized sector are expected to be at or above the 2024 level. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev at a meeting dedicated to seasonal field work. "Seasonal field work in Russia is proceeding on schedule and according to plan. At the moment, the harvest is being collected in all grain-producing regions. Last week, we exceeded the mark of 100 million tons of grain. Today, farmers have already collected almost 105 million tons. The yield is higher than last year's. Thus, the forecast of 135 million tons of grain remains unchanged," Patrushev added.
