A recent survey by DATAGRO Grains reports that the Brazilian soybean harvest for the 2022/23 crop reached 71.6% of the projected area, showing progress from the previous year but falling short of the five-year average. The pace of work remains slower than the same period last year. The corn harvest and sowing of the new crop are also on track, but below previous years' numbers. The summer corn harvest for the 2022/23 season in the Center-South of Brazil also fell behind past years' figures, at 56.6% of the estimated area, but shows weekly improvement. The sowing of the new winter corn crop, however, reached 94.7%, showing significant improvement from the previous week.
