The planting of the 2025/26 soybean crop in Mato Grosso do Sul has reached 30.9% of the total estimated area, equivalent to approximately 1.4 million hectares, reported the Mato Grosso do Sul Soybean Producers Association (Aprosoja MS). The southern region leads the sowing, with 40.3% of the area planted, followed by the central region, with 17.7%, and the northern region, with 13.3%, according to a survey by the Siga/MS Project, executed by the entity, with data up until last Friday (17). The pace is slightly below that recorded in the same period of the previous crop, when planting reached 32%, but it exceeds by 10 percentage points the average of the last five years, which is 21%.
