Brazil continues to advance in the planting of the 2025/26 soybean crop. According to the latest survey by the National Supply Company (Conab), the country has sown 58.4% of the expected area. In 2024, the sown area was 66.1%. In the previous week, the index was 47.1%, representing a 24% advance in the period. According to Conab, São Paulo leads the planting in the country with 95%, followed by Mato Grosso with 90.1%, Mato Grosso do Sul with 86%, Paraná with 79%, Goiás with 43%, and Tocantins with 39%. Bahia appears with 30% of the area sown, Minas Gerais with 29.6%, Santa Catarina with 22%, Rio Grande do Sul with 17%, Piauí with 12%, and Maranhão with 9%. In Mato Grosso, planting is nearing completion and the majority of the crops are in good condition. The return of rains has also allowed for a strong advance in planting in Mato Grosso do Sul.
