Further agricultural and food products have been stopped by inspectors before being introduced to the Polish market. They imposed an immediate enforceability clause on these decisions. The Commercial Quality Inspection of Agricultural and Food Articles (IJHARS) regularly informs (including on the X platform) about blocking the influx of products that are burdened with defects and irregularities. The aim is to protect consumers from imported food that does not meet national or EU requirements and standards. In recent times, the IJHARS branch in Szczecin issued a decision to ban the introduction into circulation in Poland of a batch of frozen soybean grains weighing 4 tons, imported from China. The reason was numerous labeling irregularities. Meanwhile, the IJHARS in Białystok prevented the introduction to the Polish market of a batch of onions weighing almost 20 tons, imported from Russia.
