A campaign titled 'Promoting the sustainability and quality of European almonds' has been launched in Germany, France, Portugal, and Spain by the Spanish association SAB-Almendrave and the Dried Fruit Competence Center of Portugal. Funded by the European Union, the campaign aims to position European almonds as a sustainable and quality product. The campaign highlights the environmental benefits of almond farming, such as its low-impact agriculture, water conservation, and carbon capture. Portugal, the world's second-largest almond producer, and Spain, the second-largest exporter, are the primary focus markets for this campaign.
