Spain assumes an 8% cut in southern hake fishing by 2022

The European Union Fisheries Ministers reached an agreement on Tuesday on the fishing opportunities for the Community fleet in 2022, which includes an 8% decrease in the catches of southern hake in the national fishing ground, as well as the cut of 6 % in fishing days for the trawling fleet in the Mediterranean, a regulation that Spain has rejected.
