The Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has proposed an 18-measure package to address farmers and livestock producers' concerns. The measures include strengthening the Food Chain Law, simplifying bureaucratic procedures, and regulating the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and trade agreements. The plan also involves creating a State Food Information and Control Agency, updating inspection plans, and expanding eco-schemes. Meanwhile, in Portugal, the Income Tax for Individuals (IRS) estimation method will retain current rates for bills and 15% in plastics and fertilizers. A Sector Conference will also be convened to discuss generational renewal.
