According to the Spanish Food Information and Control Agency (AICA), Spain's olive oil production until the end of January 2024 reached 774,653 tons, with Jaén province contributing 190,410 tons. The total stocks of Spanish olive oil stood at 735,144 tons as of January 31, 2024. Despite high prices and increased exports, producers are grappling with challenges due to a second year of reduced production, affecting their income and business profitability.
