Spanish olive oil sales have experienced significant growth in major markets such as Japan, China, Taiwan, Germany, the UK, Belgium, and the Netherlands, with a 41% increase over the past three years. However, sales to the United States have declined by 7% due to tariffs imposed in 2019. Consumption in Spain also rose by 10%. The Olive Oil World Tour campaign, which started in 2018, has contributed to boosting demand in nine markets. The Olive Oil Interprofessional's promotional efforts have reached over 23,000 million contacts and had impacts totaling 18.5 billion in Asia, 1.3 billion in Europe, and 3.2 billion in the US.
