[Korea Farmers and Fishermen Newspaper, Reporter Ahn Hyeong-jun] A market development team for the export of Korean animal pharmaceuticals has been dispatched to Central and South American countries with high potential for purchasing animal pharmaceuticals. The Korea Animal Pharmaceuticals Association sent a market development team composed of government, association, and industry representatives to Chile and Mexico from July 12 to 21. As part of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' initiative to support the activation of animal pharmaceutical exports, this market development team held individual export consultations with buyers on July 15 in Chile and July 17 in Mexico. The export consultations were attended by 28 companies involved in the import and distribution of animal pharmaceuticals in Mexico and Chile, resulting in a total of 49 deals worth approximately $9.15 million.
