World: Bulgarian wheat is offered for BGN 388 per ton; there are no buyers

World grain continued to rise The market continues to hold the upward direction of the quotations of the main grain contracts on the world exchanges. According to the Sofia Stock Exchange (SSE), this is mainly due to fears of a drought in Russia. FOB Chicago bread wheat rose another $9.00 to $258.00/t for June delivery, France added €18.00 to €237.00/t. Ukraine and Russia were unchanged at $206.00 and $230.00/t, respectively, the SSB said in its weekly review. Movement with corn is more cautious. In the US, the price rose $1.00 to $201.00/t, in France it was up €6.00 to €201.00/t. As with wheat, the price in Russia remained unchanged at $185.00/t. Barley prices in Ukraine stagnated again at $183.00/t for June delivery. Euronext rapeseed returned down by minus €7.50 to €473.50/t.
