Statistics Poland on the chocolate and preserves market in 2019: the production value exceeded PLN 7 billion

The data from the Central Statistical Office also shows that in 2019 the production of chocolate and other products containing cocoa, filled with cocoa, decreased by 19.1% compared to 2018. up to 31,325 tons. The production of chocolate and other cocoa-containing products without filling, with the addition of cereals, fruit or nuts, decreased by 8.6%. up to 54,067 tons. The production of chocolate-covered candies fell by 8.0 percent. up to 53,338 tons. The production of chocolate coated dragees increased by 12.5 percent. up to 24,378 tons.
