Argentina's strawberry production is dominated by provinces such as Santa Fe, Tucumán, and Buenos Aires, with the harvest season spanning from May to December. However, the COVID-19 pandemic brought about a significant decrease in consumption, leading to an oversupply and challenges in marketing the fruit. Despite these challenges, the harvest in areas with strict COVID-19 controls saw good yields and normalized demand as the year progressed. Drought conditions in central and northern Argentina also contributed to favorable productive conditions.
