Mother's Day shoppers found an abundance of fresh fruits like new crop cherries, nectarines, apricots, and peaches, as well as strawberries and raspberries, available for Mother's Day celebrations. The supermarket ads for the week showed a 4% decrease from the previous week and a 9% increase from the same week last year, with fruit ads making up 47% of the total. Prices for major items like apple juice, seedless watermelons, Honeycrisp apples, avocados, raspberries, sweet yellow onions, Roma tomatoes, and zucchini have significantly increased this year, while bunched roses saw a 30% increase and bunched tulips a 12% decrease.
