The Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP) together with the Indonesian Plantation Companies Association (GPPI) is pushing for the acceleration of Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certification for smallholder palm oil farmers to strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesia's palm oil products in both the domestic and global markets. This effort is considered important because ISPO certification has now become one of the main requirements to increase market acceptance of Indonesia's palm oil products, while also addressing various negative issues related to the sustainability of the palm oil industry.
