A new large-scale study reveals how regenerative agriculture can provide more food with fewer inputs, proving that the future of European agriculture lies in working with nature. At a time when discussions about food security, the climate crisis, and agricultural sustainability are at the top of the European political agenda, the European Alliance for Regenerative Agriculture (EARA) presents one of the most ambitious and encouraging studies in recent years, reports ypaithros.gr. The world's largest innovative study on regenerative agriculture, funded by EIT Food, compares 78 regenerative farms in 14 European countries with neighboring conventional farms. According to the report, with 62% less synthetic nitrogen and 76% fewer pesticides, innovative farmers have achieved almost equivalent yields, with only a 1% decrease in calorie and protein production.
