The province of Zeeland in the Netherlands has distributed over 1 million euros in subsidies to five demonstration projects in the sixth round of its 'Zeeland in Stroommetaal' scheme. The projects include the development of a quinoa chain in Zeeland, a logistics center for sea vegetables, and an onion sorting machine demonstration. The quinoa chain project receives nearly 190,000 euros, while the logistics center project receives 200,000 euros. The onion sorting machine project receives the same amount of funding, with collaboration from Machine Innovation Company, QEF Electric Innovation, Wiskerke Onions, and Uireka.
