In March 2023, Brazil has seen a notable increase in its sugar and molasses exports, with a total of 1.150 million tons exported in just 13 working days, generating revenue of R$ 501.12 million. This marks a significant increase compared to the same period in 2022, where 88.49 thousand tons were exported daily, a 35% rise. The past week alone saw exports of over 360,000 tons. When compared to March 2022, which had 22 business days, the exports in 2023 have been more concentrated but still managed to surpass the previous year's figures in both volume and revenue, with prices also increasing by 12%.
