Raw sugar futures contracts on ICE saw a slight decrease on February 22, with the March delivery falling 0.04 cents, or 0.2%, to 21.29 cents a pound. This drop is part of the market's consolidation around current levels after recent gains due to expectations of a decline in India's production caused by adverse weather. Meanwhile, the May delivery of white sugar contract fell by $1.90, or 0.3%, to $567.00 a tonne.
