Suncheon City (Mayor Noh Kwang-gyu) joined with leading peach farmers to learn about multi-stemmed cultivation technology, a leading example of future agriculture, on the 14th for advanced site benchmarking. This benchmarking was conducted in the form of a field visit to successful multi-stemmed orchard creation cases in the Sancheong area of Gyeongnam Province, where farmers had the opportunity to see and learn about the actual application of multi-stemmed technology on site. Multi-stemmed cultivation is a method of forming multiple main branches from a single tree, guiding each branch to grow independently. This technique plays a significant role in optimizing the growth of fruit trees by evenly distributing the fruit, improving yield and quality.
