Ukraine has experienced a significant increase in sunflower oil and meal export prices, leading to a surge in the purchase price of sunflower to a record high of UAH 21,000 per ton, due to factors such as increased exports, drop in hryvnia exchange rate, and limited supply from farmers. Despite a slight drop in average sunflower oil prices, demand prices have reached $920/t, driven by increased demand from India. Meanwhile, sunflower meal demand prices have seen a decrease to $220-225/t due to a drop in soybean meal prices. Soybean futures on the Chicago Stock Exchange have seen fluctuations, while Argentina's completion of soybean harvesting is expected to increase the supply of soybean oil and meal.
