Vietnam's agricultural, forestry, and fishery exports have seen a significant growth in the first 11 months of 2021, despite the Covid-19 epidemic, with a total export turnover of nearly 43.48 billion USD, an increase of 14.2% from the previous year. This growth was fueled by the increased purchasing power of the US, China, and Japan markets. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development plans to continue implementing solutions to remove obstacles in the circulation, production, processing, and consumption of agricultural products, and will also continue to promote the opening of agricultural product markets and develop commodity industries. Additionally, the Ministry will guide units and businesses to improve their profiles and introduce them to export to China, and develop an action plan to implement the cooperation agreement with the US on controlling illegal logging and trade.
