A project in Morocco is revitalizing the CQPM training center in Sidi Ifni to focus on aquaculture, introducing a unique curriculum and creating two production units in the Atlantic Ocean for offshore and shellfish farming. The project, funded by the National Agency for Aquaculture Development (ANDA), aims to boost sustainable production and provide job opportunities, with the first group of technicians set to graduate in September 2024. This initiative is part of the Halieutis strategy, which seeks to revitalize the fisheries sector by promoting aquaculture and coastal tourism. The project's success has sparked interest from other training centers and involves a private company operating the demonstration platforms.
