Italy: Strengthen rewards for virtuous companies that respect biosecurity standards

The initiative promoted by the Hungarian presidency was created to stimulate a reflection on possible solutions to mitigate the impact of animal diseases and the consequent restrictive measures imposed on breeders and supply chains in the affected territories. I am referring in particular to African swine fever, which we are tackling in Italy by implementing extraordinary measures that involve, in addition to the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministries of Health, the Interior, Defense and Road Infrastructure, as well as, obviously, the Regions.
