Syngenta and Amoéba sign agreement to develop biofungicide

Syngenta and Amoéba announced on Monday, the 17th, the signing of a Memorandum for the development and commercialization of biocontrol solutions in the European Union and the United Kingdom. The partnership focuses on amoeba-based technologies for the protection of cereal crops. The companies plan to negotiate a definitive distribution agreement by spring 2026. The initial focus of the collaboration will be the fight against wheat diseases, specifically septoria blotch (STB) and yellow rust.
