Taiwan is looking to enhance its trade relations with Lithuania, particularly in agriculture and technology. A Taiwan-Lithuania sourcing meeting was held online, leading to discussions between 24 Lithuanian food companies and their Taiwanese counterparts. Products like chocolates and alcoholic drinks from Lithuania are under consideration for import by Taiwanese retailers. The trade volume and diversity are expected to expand, with Taiwan's imports from Lithuania likely to grow in value and volume. A trade delegation led by Kung Ming-hsin, chief of Taiwan's National Development Council, is scheduled to visit Lithuania next month.
