Taiwan has notified the WTO that it will impose volume-based special safeguards on imports of other chicken cuts and pork belly. The country imported more than the specified trigger levels for both products, leading to the activation of additional duties equivalent to one-third of the normal duties. These measures will be in effect until the end of 2023.
