By 2025, Tajikistan aims to boost its fresh fruit exports to 30 thousand tons, generating over $8 million in revenue. The country's top export fruits in the first 9 months of 2024 included fresh apricots, grapes, and plums. Apricots are the leading export with $2 million in revenue and 4.8 thousand tons exported, followed by grapes with $1.4 million in revenue and 5.4 thousand tons exported. Plums brought in $1.3 million with 3.7 thousand tons exported. Other significant exports included pistachios, nectarines and peaches, cherries, and lemons. The country is also looking to expand its pistachio exports by establishing industrial plantations using superior foreign varieties.
