Cucumber grows much faster than tomatoes, which alone makes it require different care. With a clever trick, we can significantly increase its yield. Besides tomatoes and peppers, cucumber is the most commonly sown plant in Hungarian home gardens. Its cultivation is not difficult, perhaps it is less sensitive than tomatoes, but it is still worth following some good advice regarding it. With a clever technique, you can even double their yield, it is worth trying. Cucumber is primarily a light-loving plant, so make sure it is placed in a spot where it gets 6-8 hours of sunlight. If they are placed in an overly shady spot, they will "avenge" it with wilting or slow fruit development. Do not forget to water them abundantly, because they do not tolerate long periods of drought either. However, their soil should never be waterlogged, as it would cause root rot in them.
